Overview
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering electrical engineering solutions for large-scale projects. This role will see you collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving efficiency through expert technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver electrical engineering solutions for large-scale projectsProvide technical expertise in high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) power distributionEnsure all work meets Australian standards, safety regulations and compliance requirementsConduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and performance evaluationsCollaborate with stakeholders, project teams and clients to ensure successful project outcomesTroubleshoot and resolve electrical system challenges providing effective solutionsMentor and guide junior engineers fostering skill development and technical growthOversee the design, procurement and implementation of electrical infrastructureMaintain accurate engineering documentation, reports and technical specificationsDrive continuous improvement in efficiency, processes and engineering methodologiesAbout You:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent5+ years experience in electrical engineering, power systems or infrastructure projects, ideally within miningStrong knowledge of power distribution, switchgear and protection systemsExperience with HV and LV electrical design and implementationFamiliarity with PLC/SCADA systems, motor control and automationStrong problem-solving and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environmentWhat's on Offer:
